Ian Harris is CEO of Cornwall Business Connections Ltd and has recently retired from the Financial Services business he set up 20 years ago. He has spent the last few years developing his contacts in the Cornwall Business Community and ran the Members Council at Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. He is a Non-Exec Director for a number of companies including Cornwall Care and Health & Care at Home. As Chairman of the Konnect board he is able to utilise his contacts for the good of our clients, develop business links at a high level and brings an array of experience to Konnect.
Ian Curnow is the CEO of Konnect, having co-founded the organisation with Tris Ley in 2014. Ian set up Konnect to put the skills he and others have gained within the professional public services to direct use in communities. During his career in the Police he was part of a multi-agency team developing a Prolific Offender Unit for Cornwall to ensure adult offenders are given the best opportunity of resettlement, and career criminals are diverted from a life of crime. His vision is to bring organisations of a similar mind-set together to facilitate real and enduring change.
Emily is Head of Economy, Skills and Culture at Cornwall Council and brings employment and skills, economic development and funding policy expertise to the Board as well as an interest in making sure that prosperity and opportunity is equally distributed and shared across communities.
Andrew Holt worked for 10 years as a solicitor before moving to Africa with his family in 1992 to manage Kagando Hospital in Western Uganda for five years. He then worked as director of administration for a large church in Bracknell. After a career change he became finance manager for Dementia UK, followed by nine years as Finance Director for InterHealth Worldwide, a UK charity with bases in London and Nairobi.
Sara Pugh is a communications and business specialist, a lecturer in entrepreneurialism at Falmouth University and is managing director of the marketing and design agency Eight Wire which she co-founded in 2004. She has many business interests across several sectors and her work is often given to social purposes. She cares passionately about Konnect’s cause as she does about helping it to be the best organisation it can be for those it serves and those who serve it.
Anne Proctor has worked in criminal justice for over 30 years. She has undertaken a wide range of roles including 15 years as an Assistant Chief Probation Officer during which time she held leadership responsibilities for every aspect of probation service delivery. She has undertaken secondments as HM Inspector of Probation and more recently as an Offender Services Advisor with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. Anne brings her experience, skills and knowledge of criminal justice to the Board as well as her desire to ensure that individuals can access the support they need to make positive changes to their lives.
