Anne Proctor

Anne Proctor

Anne Proctor has worked in criminal justice for over 30 years, having undertaken a wide range of roles including 15 years as an Assistant Chief Probation Officer. She has undertaken secondments as HM Inspector of Probation and more recently as an Offender Services Advisor with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. As Chair, Anne brings her experience, skills and knowledge of criminal justice to the Board as well as her desire to ensure that individuals can access the support they need.

Andrew Holt

Andrew Holt

Andrew Holt was a solicitor in London and Brighton for ten years before moving his family to Uganda in 1992 to manage Kagando Hospital. After five years in Uganda, he returned to the UK to work in administration for a large church in Bracknell. A career change led to the role of Finance Manager for Dementia UK, followed by nine years as Finance Director for InterHealth Worldwide, a UK medical charity based in London and Nairobi. Andrew has been Konnect’s Finance Director since 2014.

Kerry St Leger

Kerry St Leger

Kerry St Leger has 20 years of experience as a Senior Executive in socially conscious businesses, with expertise in strategic human resources, bid writing, learning and development, sustainability, and change management.

She specialises in psychosocial and therapeutic work with marginalised groups and has worked across a broad spectrum of statutory, private, and third-sector settings across all age groups. Following five years of specialist postgraduate training, she holds a UKCP qualification as a Psychoanalyst and is currently researching organisational psychology as a clinical doctoral student at Exeter University.

Ian Harris

Ian Harris

Ian Harris is CEO of Cornwall Business Connections Ltd. Having recently retired from running his Financial Services business, he has developed extensive contacts in the Cornwall business community and ran the Members Council at Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. He has held roles as Non-Exec Director for a number of companies and is currently working with Capita to deliver a DWP pilot across Devon & Cornwall. He brings a vast array of experience and connections to Konnect to develop business links at a high level.

Maggie Collier Konnect Communities Board Member

Maggie Collier

Maggie Collier co-founded, and for many years was CEO of a global marketing services agency. Since leaving that role has worked as an independent business consultant and Non-executive director. She has a particular interest in startup businesses and those working in the area of sustainability.

She has served on a number of boards and is an experienced charity trustee of organisations working both within the UK and internationally. Alongside Konnect she is currently on the board of a charity which provides therapeutic services in an outdoor setting and is a trustee of a London based charity which supports young people leaving care into employment and which advocates for change in the care system.

Nadia Henrique-Murray Konnect Communities Board Member

Nadia Henrique-Murray

Nadia Henrique-Murray has 30 years of business experience as a Marketing and Product Management specialist. She has operated in Senior leadership roles with a proven track record in driving new initiatives and delivering positive outcomes.

In the last few years, she has developed many connections in Cornwall through her work as a Business Mentor and Marketing Consultant.

Working with Konnect Communities reflects her desire to do more work for organisations that prioritise people over profit and to make a greater contribution to the local Cornish Community.

Gill Pipkin Konnect Communities Board Member

Gill Pipkin

Gill Pipkin has worked at senior management level in the public, private and voluntary sector where she focussed on developing successful teams of paid staff and volunteers in a wide variety of settings. In 2023, she stepped back from her charity leadership post and set up her consultancy and coaching business which specialised in helping small to medium sized charities address issues such as strategic planning, governance and funding. She is an experienced Trustee and Chair, having held posts on local and national charities and is also a Non-Executive Director for Coastline Housing.

When a client comes to us, we work to address and resolve multiple barriers that might prevent them from moving forward. By putting the right support system in place, we can overcome these barriers.

Our clients include those who have complex and diverse needs, those who have been involved in the criminal justice system and individuals who feel lost or ‘stuck’. We empower every individual to find pathways to enable them to progress with their lives.

We provide practical support in matters such as finance, housing, health and well-being, education, training and employment. And, we guide individuals through personal challenges using a trauma-informed approach towards our mentoring and support.

Our experience allows us to provide non-discriminatory and non-judgemental support, including to those involved in the criminal justice system or who have complex and diverse needs.

We see the value in everyone and we understand that self-worth is the foundation for a brighter future. We enable everyone to feel heard and to feel that they belong; empowering them to rebuild their lives.

Based in the heart of Cornwall, our team members work across Cornwall and into the South West. We work in partnership with local and national services to provide a whole-person approach to our support and advocacy.
